I was in a pub, and I didn’t know what I wanted (it served mostly English beers, and I’d never been to the place (Speaker’s Corner) before) so I played russian roulette with the serving wench, and this one popped up.

According to someone who should probably know, it’s one of the favoured drinks of Englishmen who think they’re ‘hard’… I don’t know, maybe they’re not so hard as they are lacking in good taste. It’s not really very good. Interesting that it’s enjoying such commercial success lately (well, it certainly appears to be). I don’t know what it is with people and crap beer, sheesh. It costs the same as far superior drops (you just know I’m going to mention the Leffe Brune, don’t you?).
