
A very good time of year.
Rinse and separate the florets, steam and drain, saute 5 or 6 chopped garlic cloves in olive oil, add one chopped tomato just before the garlic overcooks, sprinkle on some sesame seeds, add the contents of a can of four bean mix (red kidney beans, green lima beans, great northern beans, garbanzo beans), stir beans into tomatoes & garlic, stir until well heated through, then stir through the drained broccoli.
Season to taste, serve with a dollop of sour cream and a drizzling of tamari.
